A federal court has paused FinCEN's Residential Real Estate Reporting Rule, meaning reporting is not currently required.

Here's the short version:
✔️ No reporting required
✔️ No reporting obligations for covered transactions
✔️ No action needed at this time

The ruling is currently under appeal, so future changes remain possible. We'll continue sharing updates as new guidance becomes available.

Seller Protection is free & applies to qualifying transactions:
• Owner occupied residential 1-4 units
• $35K coverage for 6 months post-closing
• $2,500 deductible
Exclusions Apply.

Example where protection may apply:
Buyer commences a legal proceeding against Seller for failing to disclose a slow leak that developed mold.
