It’s a big week for the PrideCo team. We’re headed to Newport Beach for the Fortra Conference, and here’s how it’s shaking out:
Tuesday, August 25th: The Fortra Invitational Golf Tournament at Pelican Hill Golf Club, followed by the kickoff reception that evening
Wednesday, August 26th: Main conference day at The Vea Hotel.

We once took back a Yogi Bear campground.

Not a metaphor. An actual licensed Jellystone campground on Clear Lake, hours from anything, with metered hookup sites and a seasonal revenue model that only worked if people knew the brand. Most didn’t.

We held it, we sold it, and we learned a lesson that still governs our underwriting to this day.

We Took Denver!

Last week, we headed up to Denver for an evening we’d been looking forward to. The crew landed at Halo Rooftop Bar on the 19th floor of the Kimpton Claret Hotel, and we came ready — full bar, solid food (yes, the espresso-crusted beef tenderloin was as good as it sounds), and a room full of people who actually do deals.

The conversations were exactly what we showed up for. Fix-and-flip strategies, bridge opportunities, DSCR plays in today’s rate environment. No fluff, no pitch decks, just real talk with operators and brokers who are actively in the market.

Denver, you delivered. We’ll be back!
