Few people can say they helped put a w**e region on the map. Richard Sanford is one of them.

As the first to plant Pinot Noir in the Santa Rita Hills at the world-renowned Sanford & Benedict vineyard, Richard helped shape one of California’s most celebrated w**e regions. On Wednesday, October 21, he’ll join us at our next WOW W**e Dinner to share the story behind the exceptional w**es of Alma Rosa.

He’ll be joined by Stefan Matulich, President of Alma Rosa W**es, and JJ Foster, Sales & Hospitality Manager, as they pour 8 w**es from the Santa Barbara County portfolio, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Grenache, and Syrah across reds, whites, and rosé.

Each w**e is paired with a catered 5-course gourmet dinner, with our in-house somm Brian Ruttencutter as master of ceremonies.

Before our W**e Dinner, attendees got a valuable deep dive with Jesse Wutkee of Eide Bailly for the PD session "Rewarding Innovation Through the R&D Tax Credit and Pitfalls to Avoid."

Jesse unpacked what actually qualifies for the R&D Tax Credit, the red flags that draw scrutiny, and what proper documentation really looks like, plus the latest case law and what federal and state taxing authorities are focused on right now. Practical, timely takeaways our Members can put to work.
