A good mentor can change a career. A scholarship in his name can change a lot more.

Monday's 5th annual Steve Durgan Memorial Golf Tournament at Kingswood Golf Club raised over $12,000 for the Steve Durgan Memorial Fund and Scholarship, supporting students studying history and heading into the marine trades.

Ethan Keslar started the tournament five years ago to honor the boss who took a chance on him early in his career, and he's still the one making it happen.

It was great to have David Keslar play among many of our customers and Tim Campbell, Karli Loisell, Skylar Labbe and Connor Beaton of Andover Companies, one of our premier carrier partners.

Your Location may change your coverage needs. Being located at a Pease Tradeport meant Shane's café needed a few coverages that are different from what he may have needed if he were open elsewhere.

He's owned Belle Pepper Cafe at Pease, a business park in Portsmouth, for almost four years, known for delicious homemade pasta, deli salads, daily wraps, and a weekly quiche with its own following. His landlord, the Pease Development Authority, has its own coverage requirements for tenants there. When we had the opportunity to assist, we worked through it, and his landlord got everything they needed.

Nearly 300 cats have found their forever home at a coffee shop.

Kaitlyn Ferretti opened Tipsy Tabby after working in the veterinary industry and falling in love with the idea of a cat cafe. Now she partners with Darbster Kitty Rescue to place two to eight cats into new homes every single week, all while pouring coffee and tea for the humans who come to meet them.

We've worked with Kaitlyn since day one, when Tipsy Tabby was the first business of its kind in NH and we had to figure out how to insure a shop with cats and food under one roof. Small business, big heart. We're proud to be part of her story.

Renters insurance: good for both landlords and tenants. Here's why.

Landlords, if a tenant causes damage or someone gets hurt in that unit, you could be the one paying for it, not them. That's why we recommend considering it as a lease requirement.
