Meet the First State Insurance Team - Denise Griffis
Denise is an Insurance Agent at our Newcastle location. She helps current and potential customers choose the best coverage that fits their needs and their budget. Denise also takes care of commission check writing and account monitoring.
When she’s not in the office, Denise is a true cowgirl! She is married to a true-blue cowboy who keeps her in the cattle and horse raising industry. He even saddles her horse for her and keeps them shod.
She enjoys roping, riding, drawing, painting, sewing, crocheting, knitting, beadwork, woodwork, braiding and weaving, and metal welding. On top of all of those hobbies, she is also in the process of learning leatherwork from her dad!
Denise and her husband are involved with firefighting and producing local rodeos for the community. They also love adopting animals and helping with local brandings. They are true animal lovers, and along with the horses and cattle, they have three dogs and several cats.
“I love being able to spark interest about insurance and educate all people, young and old. Especially if we can save them some money!”
One of Denise’s mottos would be “Everybody insured?”
