First days change fast.
In 2009 you were buying crayons and glue and play-doh.
In 2022 you bought textbooks, pepper spray, laptops, apple watches, toaster ovens, IKEA furniture...
Both times you probably cried and worried. And you are a great parent. And they will be okay.
Don't worry about the KLIPPAN sofa, or PUDDA bins though. Your student's personal property is still covered on your homeowner policy while at University.

Back to school seems like a time to get back at it after a long break from the social medias...We have a full moon, a new school year, a season change ahead. Change is an amazing opportunity to reflect and start fresh with hope for what's ahead, gratitude for what is now, and fondness for what was.

Don't forget to update the old insurance lady about your changes too. Did you:
-Get a pool this summer
-buy a trampoline
-get a new puppy
-change your commute
-buy a fancy anniversary gift
-get a new driver in the house..all these wonderful changes have an impact on your insurance needs. Let me know if your 16 year old started driving the new puppy to her job 20 miles away at the jewelry store where you bought the 25th anniversary band.

Don't forget to toss down some de-icer today, the sunshine and warm up will help it work! I know a dog who slipped on the ice at my house yesterday and is going to need surgery to take care of that broken digit...I'm pretty certain he plans on claiming my insurance or suing me because this photo of him REALLY looks like he may moonlight as a personal injury attorney.

Good thing my premises med pay is $10,000 and the surgery is supposed to be less, otherwise we would have to start assigning liability.

Well friends, due to the elementary and middle school closing for a surge of positive Covid cases, office hours will be modified while learning is remote. While the family juggles the extra time at home I should be in the office by noon during the week.

Please call me with anything that comes up or to double check if I'm in. I will be working at home if I am not physically in the office.

In a scene that this first time Elf watcher was afraid was taking a "It's a Wonderful Life" turn, Santa crashes into Central Park. Turns out Christmas Spirit is at an all time low. Could be Buddy fighting a Santa at Gimbels, could be that everyone gets burned out by Thanksgiving since we start so early, I guess ask Linus (wrong movie) .
What we know is that Santa 'need(s) an elf's help' and Buddy is just the man for the job. Papa taught him well. Plus spoiler alert, Jovie may add to the spirit with a very public Caroling, either way Santa's sleigh would be covered under his Physical Damage coverage subject to deductible so I really hope he kept full coverage even after the Sleigh was over 10 years old.
And now the end...Walter tells his boss to shove it and in a Christmas Movie grand gesture reunites with his son, reignites his Christmas Spirit, and saves the day. Then he starts his OWN publishing company (Will need a BOP, Business Auto, Work Comp, EPLI package) and has a successful first book about Buddy in NY. Buddy and Jovie marry and have a baby (Life Insurance, Health Insurance) and visit Papa Elf as much as possible at the Pole.
I'm sure it probably snows at the last minute too. Now enjoy the Holiday!
