Hi friends đź‘‹ Chase Ghiloni here. I wanted to share a moment that I caught on my way into work this morning.

We are often asked what makes First Federal Savings different than any other bank. Well, it goes a little something like this.

I walked into the parking lot and saw Charity McFarland out there with a customer who has limited mobility, helping them right at the car so they wouldn’t have to make the walk into the branch. No one told her to do it, no big production. Just Charity, doing what she does, because that’s what you do for a neighbor.

It’s easy to talk about “customer service” in a meeting. It’s another thing to see it happen in a parking lot before 9am, when the world isn’t watching.

It’s these little things, the ones we see our folks doing over and over again, day after day, without being asked, that set us apart from everyone else. That’s not a slogan. That’s just Charity, and honestly, that’s most of the people I get to work alongside here.

This is what makes us more than “just a bank”.

Last night, First Federal joined the celebration of the Licking County Family YMCA Licking County Family YMCA’s 150th anniversary! It was an evening full of history and community.

A huge thank you to the 150th planning committee and the entire team at the YMCA for putting together such a memorable evening, and to Licking Memorial Hospital for another wonderful spread. We also want to recognize Dr. Tom Hall, who was honored for his many years of dedicated service to the Y.

Here’s to 150 years, and many more to come!

It was a scorcher out there, but that didn’t stop the First Fed team from showing up at the Granville 4th of July Parade! We handed out popsicles and mini fans to help everyone cool off while we celebrated together.
