Join us May 30 & 31 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Canal Market District for Newark’s 250 Homecoming Picnic.

Bring your picnic lunch, gather your friends and family, and enjoy live music from Barefoot McCoy as we celebrate 250 years of history and community.

Tables and chairs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are so proud to celebrate the newest graduates of our Leadership 101 program!

Taylor, Joyce, Dawn, Emma, and Justin have completed this internal series focused on building core leadership skills and self-awareness, and we couldn’t be more excited to see where that growth takes them.

We’re thrilled to welcome Mike Crumrine, CPA, to the First Federal Savings & Loan Board of Directors! Mike brings over 30 years of public accounting experience and serves as Firm Manager at Wilson, Shannon, & Snow CPAs & Advisors, where his work spans financial statement audits, small business taxation, and consulting. A proud Ohio State alum and longtime Licking County community member, Mike also serves as Treasurer of Licking County Community Health and volunteers with the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra. We’re honored to have someone so deeply rooted in our community join our board. Welcome, Mike!

After more than a decade of service, First Federal Savings Director Bill Weidaw is retiring from our Board. Bill joined the Board in 2013 and spent much of his tenure on the Audit Committee, including six years as its Chair. He brought wisdom, curiosity, and the kind of steady, encouraging presence that made everyone around him better. His guidance through leadership transitions, the pandemic, and periods of significant change meant more than words can capture. We are deeply grateful for everything Bill contributed to First Federal, our employees, and the communities we serve. Wishing Bill, Jan, and their family all the best in the years ahead.

Local Realtor and friend, Tim Cocanour (photographer) arranged the visit and led the group along with Hunter Waddell (center) from Newark Development Partners on a tour of the newly renovated Newark Arcade. It's always great to show off our community!
