Meet Fernando, a physician from Brazil currently doing research at NYU Langone to become a doctor. Fernando and his wife moved here from Brazil without knowing anyone in the city and their apartment search proved challenging. Here’s what he had to say about his experience:

“I got really concerned that I wouldn't be able to find an apartment anytime soon. There was no one that we could ask to be our guarantor, and no one would take us without one, because we are from Brazil, and we don't have a credit score. We don't have the monthly annual income that they require. So without TheGuarantors, we wouldn't have been able to secure a place at all. TheGuarantors made this possible.”
