We are proud to announce that Ascendus was awarded $7,000 from The Moses Kimball Fund to support our 2026 Greater Boston Small Business Lending and Financial Education Program. This funding empowers low- to moderate-income (LMI) business owners with access to capital and financial education resources.​

Through this partnership, we will provide extensive financial education to 200 Greater Boston small businesses, with 49 receiving $980,000 in critical capital to grow their businesses. We have partnered with the Moses Kimball Fund since 2015 to support the needs of the Greater Boston community.​

From seasonal dependency to credit-ready. This is ZOLUT in 2026.​

Ten years ago, ZOLUT operated on a seasonal revenue model: high demand from June to August, managed cash flow the rest of the year. It required strict discipline and deep operational focus. ​

Rather than pivoting away, Patricia Angel used those constraints to build capability. When the time came to expand, she launched Yes We Do T-Shirts -
not as a replacement, but as a second business unit built on everything ZOLUT had already mastered. ​

The result: longer contracts (4 to 5 years), new industry verticals, stronger margins, and a business that moved from reacting to demand to planning for
growth. ​
