Social (In)Justice and Spatial Practice will kick off February 15 at the NY Center for Architecture with Sade Lythcott of the National Black Theatre and Elena Ketelsen González of MoMA Ps1. The panel investigates the relationship between the cultural institution, social justice, and architecture.

The series was created and will be moderated by BVA’s Peter Zuspan and BK-D’s Koray Duman.

Bureau V’s Peter Zuspan presents The Nuclear Imagination at the Brooklyn Public Library on June 12, 2018 at 2pm.

From the utopian Atoms for Peace campaign to the environmental imperatives of the 1960s and 70s to the science fiction of the 1980s, the nuclear power reactor has held a near constant but ever-shifting position within popular culture. The lecture will consider these various meanings and will look towards what value this history could hold for a future of architecture.
