MOTHERHOOD- The most amazing journey God has given me. Like my sister always says- “You love your chaotic lifestyle.” And my answer is- “Yes, I do.” Each day brings different adventures. Some days are hard and some are easy. Some days I’m tired and some other full of energy. But one thing I can tell you is- no matter what kind of day I may be having- my children ALWAYS bring out a smile. I wouldn’t change them for anything in this world. They are full of life and ideas. I can go On and On- but bottom line is Motherhood is amazing and I am so happy I get to have 3 little ones to call me Mama.
Also- I enjoyed my pregnancy so much. 😍😍😍😍😍

When should you get kids involved in investing?

As soon as they come out of the womb!

It is excellent to get them involved as soon as possible, but around five years old is when they can understand a bit.
You will be arming them with the tools and knowledge they can take into adult life. You're teaching them something that isn't taught in school but should be.

If you already have investments, start by showing them how it is growing or fluctuating. A great way to keep their attention is by investing money in something they like. For example, if they LOVE Disney, invest some money in Disney and tell them they own a bit of Disney. They can check daily how their investment is doing—keeping them informed and engaged, even if they don't yet fully understand.

You should invest in your children

In a way, you probably don't think of it until they are older. Long-term investments!

You can set up investment accounts as soon as you get their social security number…. We already set up our 2-month-old's investment accounts.

You can start by adding as little as $5 a week to a brokerage account or a 529 college fund.

When it comes to investing, It's about time in the market. Your kids have time on their side. The more time you have, the more you can benefit from compound growth.

For example. If you invest $5 a week for 18 years, that is $4,325 you've invested. Now if you invested the same amount, and you earned 8 percent each year on your investment, you will end up with $9,008.04 which means you've earned almost 50% more IN JUST INTEREST!

Remember, it's never too late to start!

What the 48 Laws of Power taught me

One of my favorite books of all time!

48 Laws of Power

Reading this book, I learned a lot about myself and how I react to things and people.

It helped me understand a lot about others, and it helped me learn how to act and treat people in particular situations.

Entrepreneurs, if you haven't read this book, you should. Buy the book and the audiobook because it will be something you reference for the rest of your life.

I am thankful for

I am thankful for my family and everything that God has given me. Every day is a blessing!

Thanksgiving is usually hosted by my sister or me every year, and it is such a great time of year because, throughout the year, we are going, going, going, with business things, the kids' school, and everyday life. Thanksgiving gives us time to slow down and visit with family that we may not have been able to see throughout the year.

I root for the underdog

8 Miles and The Pursuit of Happyness have something in common that I love.
That is an amazing come-up.

Seeing people who come from nothing and work hard, giving it their all.
Seeing someone follow their dream and not let the haters and naysayers deter them from the life they want.

Watching someone come up from the struggle and make it!

I've stopped college multiple times

I have stopped college multiple times through the years.
I am only missing five classes, and I will graduate. SO much has happened while being in school.

I am a wife, and I have been pregnant three times throughout the process. I have to pause school until I know I can give it my attention without feeling like I'm being pulled in 20 directions.

The hustler in me is itching to finish school, but as a mother and wife, in me know that I have to put my family and business first right now.

When I focus on my family and put them first, my projects will come at the right time.
Being a mom and wife always comes first.

If I didn't put my family first, I wouldn't have or be where I am now!

Have you seen Maid?

I just saw the show Maid on Netflix, and it made me emotional.

I loved it because it shows what a mother is capable of doing and the lengths she will go for her child.

The things that I do and want to accomplish in life are for myself and my children I want to be the example that they look to and say, "wow, mom worked so hard and accomplished so much. If she can do that, I know I can."

My self-care routine as a Momprenuer

My self-care routine helps me be the best boss, wife, and mom possible.

My daily routines help me make the best out of my busy day as a mompreneur.

It is so important to take some time out for yourself to make sure you refill your batteries to continue being your best self.

This week, while you're doing your self-care routine, no matter how small (your morning cup of coffee).☕
I want you to take a moment to stop, breathe, and really enjoy that moment without worrying about what is coming next. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I am throwing out all my kids' toys.

If you saw my previous post, you will know that my kids don't have an abundance of toys.

Why did I throw out (donated) a majority of my children's toys?
They currently attend a school that shares the same values as my family, and one of the things they taught me was.

If kids have 1000s of toys options, they will jump from toy to toy, and they cannot focus on one thing, so they play with all of them and still feel “bored” or “unsatisfied”. This usually ends up with toys all over the place and mama and kids.

I encourage them to play with each other, use their imagination, and play with the toys they have to the max.

I am still working on this, but like motherhood, it is a work in progress, and nothing is ever perfect.

Traditional views about raising children/ teaching

My traditional views flow into the way I want my children to be raised and taught.

I have a traditional view on how I raise my children.
🧸I make my children lunch in the morning for school.

🧸I believe that children should be children and not pressured or forced into homework.

🧸My children have a minimal selection of toys. This helps eliminate the over stimulation of having too many options.(I just started doing this- I did all the opposite before I learned it was not a good thing)

🧸I encourage them to use their imagination. My daughter's favorite toy is an Amazon box right now. 😆

🧸NO IPADS - or very little use of them because screening time should be limited to allow their imagination to flow. They will have plenty of opportunities to explore technology as they get older in our tech world. Again, I just started doing this, and I have noticed a great positive shift to this. When they do get their iPads. I charge it till 30%, so the use is limited. Mostly, I’ve been hiding them 😆

🧸CHORES- Kids love feeling helpful and useful. Ask them to make their beds, organize their room, wash the dishes with you or get the table ready for dinner. You will be surprised on how much fun they have doing these chores- TRY IT!
