Life is full of surprises; sometimes good, sometimes bad. Last week, I did absolutely experience why it's important to put something in place to protect urselves and our loved ones. My next door neighbor got sick, he had a seizure. I called 911, he emergency team came in and rushed him to the hospital. It was a very stressful and tough moment for his little family. Three days after a biopsy. He was diagnosed with a very aggressive lesion called HBM. There was no treatment, his health degraded rapidly and he died 7 days later.
Not having put anything in place in term of protection like life insurance, made every thing very hard to deal with. The family needed the funeral to be held in his home country. For a full week, I held a fund raising , calling friends and neighbors so that we can pay for the cost of all the funeral expenses and the cargo shipment to help his daughter and wife fly the body back home.
A simple final expense policy, could have taken care this matter in a very fine and expeditious way.
Tragedy happens, and it's going to happen to each of us. That's exactly why, we should plan for that moment. The solution for that is having an Insurance policy in place. Final expense policy and Mortgage Protection would help people solve this problem, when an unexpected event happens
