In this video, we capture highlights from the event, including moving remarks by New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani. Mayor Mamdani spoke powerfully about the deep-rooted, unbroken resilience of the African diaspora and its historic and ongoing global pursuit of independence, sovereignty, and self-determination.
