STRATEGIC CAPITAL CORPORATION ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE
PROMOTION AND APPOINTMENT
NEW YORK, November 3, 2016 – Strategic Capital Corporation, one of North America’s leading, independent structured settlement purchasers, today announced the promotion of Ric Perez to senior vice president, national marketing director, and the appointment of Sheila Thomsen to vice president, business development.
“In his seven years with the company, Ric has played a vital role in helping establish Strategic Capital as a leader among structured settlement purchasing companies, and I am confident he will continue to thrive in his expanded role as national marketing director,” said David Meyerowitz, president and chief executive officer of Strategic Capital Corporation.
“I also look forward to the contributions of our newest associate, Sheila Thomsen,” Meyerowitz added. “As vice president of business development for the southeastern U.S., she will combine her vast financial experience and relationships in the legal community to serve as a resource to structured settlement consultants, attorneys and annuitants.”
Prior to his promotion as senior vice president at Strategic Capital, Perez served as vice president of business development, a role he has held since 2009. Before that, he was a regional account executive with LawFinance Group and a regional manager with LawCash. Ric is originally from Colorado and attended Colorado State University.
Thomsen joins Strategic Capital from the Washington State Association for Justice where she served as associate director of membership and development. Earlier in her career, she was director of member services for the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. She studied business at Georgia State University.
