Halogen Spotlight: YSE Beauty

is a Los Angeles-based, results-driven skincare brand built for women in their late 30s, 40s, and beyond who want clinical results without complicated routines.

Founder Molly Sims spent decades as one of the most recognizable faces in the industry. Behind the scenes she was struggling with hyperpigmentation and melasma, carrying concealer everywhere she went and cycling through harsh clinical products that left her skin raw. In 2019 she stopped everything and started building her own solution. She tested formulas for years, sent neighbors boxes of unmarked products with handwritten instructions, and kept going until a plastic surgeon asked what she was doing to her skin. That became YSE Beauty, which launched in April 2023.

Kara Egan and her team .Health built the first FDA-authorized at-home cervical cancer screening with the same accuracy as a doctor’s office. This is what patient-centered healthcare looks like. In May 2025, Teal received the only FDA-authorization for at-home screening, and now just seven months later, has scaled nationally across 50 states to meet the growing demand.

Kara Egan, CEO and Co-Founder of Teal Health said it best, “Women have been asking for a better option, and now it is here.
