Five years ago we set out to solve an intractable problem: how to source low-cost capital to fund large-scale housing production. Along the way we learned our capital problem is linked to other problems, and that all these problems are actually just symptoms of two larger systemic problems: flawed incentive schemes and the tradition of maximizing shareholder value. Loci eliminates financial middlemen to better serve the aligned interests of its users, the natural stakeholders of the real economy, over the narrow interests of shareholders alone. Our founders work with teams scattered across the globe to serve the interests of future Loci users.
