Last week, Hamilton-Madison House joined Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and other NY Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) legislators, community organizations, advocates, and activists in the 2026 AAPI Summit. It was wonderful to connect with others on supporting and mobilizing the AAPI community in New York!

HMH’s mental health worker, June, shares signs to watch out for and ways to reach out. Let’s do our best to take care of each other.

We want to thank Dr. Lisa Scott-McKenzie, Commissioner of NYC Aging, for visiting our Hamilton-Madison House’s City Hall Older Adult Center! Our older adults were delighted by her kind words and warm presence. We look forward to continuing our partnership with NYC Aging, especially as more older New Yorkers are looking to ease isolation, stay active, and connect with culturally and linguistically appropriate services.
