A Member's Story

With Cornell University as his top choice, Kevin N. understood the workload and demands of attending an Ivy League school. Born and raised in the Bronx, Kevin and his two siblings were taught the importance of financial responsibility at a young age and were also focused on the value and commitment of making the most of their education.

“I was fully expecting to have to take part in work study programs while at Cornell, knowing that it would provide limits on my studying. It was a huge relief for my family and me when we heard I was selected to receive the MCU Foundation Scholarship grant. I knew then that I could focus on my studies and the opportunities ahead.”
