On Saturday, June 3rd, over 450 of GoldenTree Asset Management’s employees, colleagues, and friends, from more than 20 countries, came together virtually to join GoldenTree’s 5K Run to Combat Hunger. In honor of this event, GoldenTree donated to charitable organizations fighting the hunger crisis around the world: The Campaign Against Hunger, Citymeals on Wheels , Student LunchBox, The Nashville Food Project, Helena Food Share, FareShare UK, Finnish Red Cross, OzHarvest, and Korea Food Bank. We are proud to support this critical work and are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community with a focus on the issue of global hunger. Kathy shared her views on the current fundraising environment, financing landscape, and the growing opportunities set in the private credit market.

On March 23rd GoldenTree Asset Management participated in the 23rd Stepping Stone House Regatta in Sydney Harbor. Stepping Stone House provides safe, long-term accommodations for young people suffering from domestic violence, sexual and emotional abuse, alcoholism, drug addiction and homelessness. The houses created by Stepping Stone House help children prepare for life after school and seek employment in a safe and happy environment. We are proud to be long-time supporters of Stepping Stone House and to participate in this event.

GoldenTree Asset Management Partner, Simon Granger, recently spoke at the London School of Economics’ Alternative Investment Conference (LSEAIC) to share GoldenTree’s approach to investing and his guidance for the next generation of aspiring professionals.

The LSE Alternative Investment Conference is the largest student conference on Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Venture Capital. Created in 2005, LSEAIC creates a forum for rich dialogue between industry leaders and passionate students. We are inspired by their work and were pleased to have GoldenTree’s perspectives represented.
