UNIDOS, SOMOS MÁS! 🤝🎉

That was the theme we celebrated throughout this Hispanic Heritage Month, where we came together for a series of programs that recognized the strength, perspectives, and impact of our Hispanic and Latin American communities.

From a vibrant kickoff celebration, lingering table conversations through a Sobremesa with Mixteca Organization, Inc. to our PRIDE x UNIDOS Book Club, colleagues gathered to share perspectives and build understanding. We also joined MUFG and SMBC for a cross-bank leadership panel with Ilhiana Rojas Saldana offering candid insights on career growth and resilience before closing out the month by celebrating ALPFA New York Chapter's Professional Mentoring Program through a fireside chat with best-selling author Daisy Auger-Domínguez.

Thank you to everyone who helped create spaces for authentic dialogue and community building. This month served as a reminder that our differences enrich us, and unidos, somos más - together, we are more.

As the signature STEM sponsor of Girls Inc., Mizuho Americas is proud to help expand access to high-quality STEM programming that helps girls gain knowledge, skills, and ambition. We recently spoke with Menorah Hawkins, a member of Girls Inc. of New York City and a 2026 Mizuho Americas Scholarship recipient, about how Girls Inc. helped her develop the confidence to pursue her goals. Today, Menorah is studying behavioral neuroscience at Northeastern University and aspires to a career in speech-language pathology.

Today marks 25 years since September 11, a day that forever changed our nation — and our firm. We pause to honor and remember the colleagues we lost that day. Their contributions, legacy, and lasting impact remain an enduring part of our story.

We also honor the strength of their families, the resilience of our communities, and the bravery of the first responders who answered with extraordinary courage.

A new chapter begins in Bengaluru!

We’re proud to celebrate an exciting milestone with the opening of our new office on Lavelle Road in downtown Bengaluru. The occasion was made even more special with Koichi Zaiki, APAC CEO leading the Pooja ceremony and officially inaugurating the office. A special thank you to our project team whose hard work brought this vision to life and the Reserve Bank of India for its approval.

As we settle into our new home in the heart of Namma Bengaluru, we look forward to deepening client relationships and continuing our growth in one of India's most dynamic business hubs.

A decade of great golf, strong partnerships, and unforgettable memories!

This week, we proudly celebrated the 10th annual Mizuho Golf Invitational at Baltusrol Golf Club, bringing together clients and colleagues for a day of competition and camaraderie on one of the game's most iconic courses.

The day featured memorable experiences both on and off the course, including exclusive clinics with our LPGA brand ambassadors Michelle Wie West and Megha Ganne as well as LPGA special guests Andrea Lee and Sarah Kemp, plus countless conversations with clients that reinforce the relationships at the heart of our business.

A celebration where art, culture, and collaboration came together in New York 🎨

We were thrilled to host the Mizuho x Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai) Exhibition & Reception, an event of cultural exchange showcasing the global impact of emerging Japanese artists. Guests heard directly from Mizuho Group Chief Culture and Brand Officer Natsumi Akita, Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike, Tokyo University of Arts President Hibino, and the featured artists themselves to learn about the growth of Mizuho Art Collection and the creative inspiration that inspired these pieces.

This exhibition reflects our ongoing collaboration with Tokyo Geidai, which seeks to create change through the power of art. Through initiatives such as the Tokyo Geidai Artfes, Mizuho supports artists and provides a platform for innovation and a sustainable future. We were also proud to announce that artist Emi Mori's work, “Drifting, enveloping,” will be added to the Mizuho Art Collection, marking an exciting milestone in the partnership.
