These are the financial red flags I’m looking for and you’d be very surprised at how many people still don’t have the first one.

Don’t be a red flag and at the very least, get a high yield savings account so you can start earning extra interest on your money instead of pennies from a traditional savings account.

Navy Federal Credit Union

When I financed my car, my interest rate was higher than I would have liked, so I focused on paying it off as quickly as possible.

Looking back, I wish I had compared more lenders and considered refinancing with Navy Federal Credit Union for a more competitive rate.

My biggest lesson: don’t just focus on paying off your loan fast. Compare rates to make sure you’re getting the best one for you!

⬇️ Here’s why you should declutter your space

1. You can make money from things you already own. Go through your clothes, electronics, furniture, bags, shoes, etc. and pull out anything that’s still in good condition but you no longer use. List it on Facebook Marketplace, eBay, Poshmark, Depop, or wherever makes sense.

I always keep a box of things I have listed for sale so that if someone buys something, I already know exactly where it is.

2. You actually see what you already own. How many times have you bought something only to realize you never touched or user it? When I clean everything out, I’m reminded of what I already have and it makes me want to own even less.

3. Donate the things that aren’t worth selling. Not everything is worth selling. If I know I’m probably never going to take the time to photograph, list, package, and ship a $10 shirt, I would rather donate it to someone who can actually use it. If I don’t find value it in, someone else will.

4. Less stuff = less brian clutter.

There’s something mentally exhausting about constantly seeing piles of things you don’t use. I’ve noticed that when my space feels chaotic, my brain feels chaotic too.

5. Start small. Don’t try to tackle an entire room, instead tackle one section. For me, that’s my closet. Next, is my bathroom. The smaller you start, the easier it gets done.

Save this later and follow if you’re going through major life changes too.
