Did you know? On Feb 23, 2010 London's Abbey Road studios was made a listed building, preserving it for all time.

Culture Minister Margaret Hodge listed the studios on the name of English Heritage because the location had "produced some of the very best music in the world".

The Beatles used Abbey Road for almost all of their album sessions. First named EMI Studios, the building was rechristened Abbey Road Studios in 1970 in honor of the famous album.

An unforgettable night in NYC in support of teachers!

TeachRock assembled musicians, educators, and supporters for an evening focused on music, community, and purpose, all in support of New York City teachers.

TeachRock’s founder Stevie Van Zandt even came by to share a bit of the TeachRock origin story, and to celebrate the teachers he’s been advocating for since 2013!

The all-star band featured Jamband luminaries Al Schnier, Tim Palmieri, Dani Battat, Sarah Elaz, Vinnie Amico, and TeachRock’s Bill Carbone, who performed a set of Grateful Dead classics mashed-up with songs about school. We believe it was the first ever “Me and My Uncle into Hot For Teacher” ever performed.

Thanks to this support, TeachRock is offering 5 free professional learning days to NYC teachers in 2026, and over 3,500 NYC teachers are already registered and using the TeachRock curriculum. Together, we’re helping educators fill their classrooms with the joy, relevance, and real-world context that gives kids a reason to show up and succeed.

Thank you to everyone who made this night possible. 🎶📚
