Pre-qualified vs. pre-approved: they sound alike, but they're not the same thing. π
A pre-qualification is usually a quick conversation based on what you tell a lender about your credit, income, and savings, with nothing verified yet. A pre-approval goes further: your loan officer takes a full application, reviews your documents, and checks them against underwriting guidelines. (A pre-approval is still not a commitment to lend.)
Waldry Marte's advice is simple: when you're ready to make an offer, be pre-approved, not just pre-qualified. Ready to get started? DM Waldry and let's look at your options. π
