Analyst Job Description:

Entry-level position for candidates with a degree in a quantitative discipline. Candidates must have very strong programming skills, especially in scripting languages such as MATLAB and/or Python. A background in financial mathematics, as well as experience with databases and/or Amazon Web Services are preferred.

Analyst Job Responsibilities:

• Analysis of complex energy commodities portfolios.
• Econometric analysis of price and demand data.
• Development of parsing scripts for client data conversion.
• Downstream reporting, including production of graphical output suitable for client reports.
• Monitor daily batch processes and output.

Analyst Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills, preferably in MATLAB or Python.
• Database experience preferable.
• Background in quantitative disciplines, with particular emphasis on statistical methods.
• Software debugging and system administration.
• Statistical analysis.
• Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.
