The push to widen the investor base means more capital chasing private deals (both primary and secondary). For someone operating at the GP/LP interface (as you do with KVLR Capital), it means fund-terms, access, secondaries and co-investment structures may shift.

I am delighted to witness the accomplishments and transformation of our company and the team's vision to strive for positive impact. The most incredible feeling of coming to work (even virtually) is hearing feedback from our team, the breakthroughs, new introductions and relationships that are being cultivated. The 1st Place Winner of the Quantum Leap Competition is Hunter Schenk. Hunter’s idea was healthcare-focused. He comes from a family of healthcare professionals, and his dad operating his own medical practice as a physician made him understand the importance of successful partnerships in the ecosystem of healthcare. Hunter's venture was presenting the idea of building a platform group of plastic surgery groups across the U.S. After being announced as the 1st-place winner he had this to say “I am excited to leverage my passion for finance and healthcare to create a robust platform that enables physicians to experience significant growth without sacrificing their autonomy and allows them to focus on what they do best - providing a high level of care to patients.”

KVLR recently held an M&A competition, Quantum LEAP. A group of KVLR's M&A Analysts was given an opportunity to partake in the Quantum LEAP project to simulate the real-world process of entrepreneurs building companies vis-a-vis M&A.

This competition consisted of 3 rounds and presentations for ventures in different business verticals. The winners were selected based on the attractiveness of the opportunity, the competitive advantage of it, the capital requirements, and more.

Excited to learn who won? We will be announcing the three winners in the following days, alongside their venture idea.

This week’s analyst highlight is Paola Bianchi, a Digital Marketing Analyst.
This is what she said about working here: “My favorite thing is the work atmosphere and how I can work on projects independently but at the same time there are team checks and support which create the perfect balance. I also like the team essence and how even though work is done remotely and on their own, teammates are always there to help and answer questions, which never makes it feel lonely”
Her favorite thing about her position is: “How two world's I like, healthcare and marketing, clash together to make a perfect position. Along with the creative freedom that comes with it, and how every day a new task is presented where something new is learned and tackled. As well as how there is a range of tasks to be performed, from planning social media posts and email campaigns to analyzing statistics from them. There is an infinite amount of things to do.”
