Celebrating International Girls Day
Today, on International Girls Day, I'm reflecting on the incredible journey that has led me to where I am today as the Founder of Wife2CFO + CEO of Source Financial Advisors, and the co-founder of The IDEAL School of Manhattan.
As the child of divorce and the daughter of a high-powered mother who inspired my path in the financial services business, as well as the mother of a child with Down syndrome, this day holds special meaning for me.
Growing up, I witnessed first-hand the challenges and triumphs that come with independence, especially for women who were not in financial control during their marriages navigate the complexities of money during and post-divorce. My mother's strength and resilience ignited my passion for empowering women to take control of their economic destinies.

On this day, let's celebrate the incredible potential and power of girls and women everywhere. Let's continue to break down barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and inspire the next generation to dream fearlessly.
While it's important to acknowledge days like this, my deepest hope is that one day, we won't need separate days to highlight the achievements and challenges of different genders, races, or abilities. MORE THAN EVER, the world needs unity, understanding, and an even playing field for the sake of humanity.
To all the incredible women out there and the girls who aspire to be like them, remember that your financial independence is a cornerstone of your very being.
