RIP Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)? My experience with LEI was that it was a great concept but has always been a half-dead identifier.

It was only "sort of" covered by any vendor with a security master, and when it was missing or wrong, the support on it was non-existent. I had the pleasure of hosting a panel, sharing the stage with:

Our Topic - The Year Ahead in Data Strategy - A Buyside Perspective.

We had a nice blend of commentary covering how systematic and fundamental firms leverage data and how tech stacks differ within each type of firm. We also discussed the various hurdles vendors must clear to make it through a trial.

Thank you, Co-Founders Tim Harrington and Marc LoPresti and the team, for having us down south, and looking forward to being on the water again in NYC in about a month. We have come a long way since my first panel at the Versace Mansion!
