Hi, I'm Josh. I'm absolutely compelled to share a matter of grave concern regarding the conduct of Coinbase (CON BASE after tonight), a platform entrusted with facilitating fair and transparent cryptocurrency trading. What I have witnessed and experienced firsthand is nothing short of a systematic betrayal of trust and a flagrant disregard for the well-being of its users.
In a recent series of trading activities, I encountered a troubling pattern wherein Coinbase consistently offered to exchange a new issue of cryptocurrency at a rate of 1000 to one, only to later renege on these offers, leaving users like myself in a state of financial jeopardy. Despite presenting irrefutable evidence of these discrepancies and seeking redress through appropriate channels, I was met with stonewalling, misinformation, and outright deception from Coinbase representatives.
This is not an isolated incident but rather symptomatic of a deeper malaise within Coinbase—a culture that prioritizes profit at any cost, even if it means trampling on the rights and livelihoods of its users. The recent revelation that Coinbase's deceptive practices have resulted in a mind-boggling $76 billion upside surprise, in excess of their average Wall Street earnings estimates, only underscores the gravity of the situation.
The repercussions of Coinbase's actions extend far beyond individual users, threatening the integrity of our financial markets and eroding the trust upon which they depend. We cannot afford to turn a blind eye to such egregious misconduct, nor can we allow Coinbase to continue operating with impunity.
As stewards of our own financial futures and as advocates for accountability and justice, we must demand swift and decisive action from Coinbase to rectify these injustices and to restore faith in the integrity of its platform. Anything short of full transparency, accountability, and restitution for affected users is simply unacceptable.
I implore all members of the Coinbase community to stand together in solidarity and demand the reforms necessary to safeguard our rights and our investments. Our voices must be heard, and our concerns addressed, lest we allow Coinbase's unchecked greed to undermine the very foundation of our financial system.
