Our 5th Annual NY Mills Community Clean Up Day is officially in the books — and what a fantastic turnout we had! 🧽🫧🧼

The weather ☀️ showed up for us, and so did this amazing community. NY Mills never disappoints.

To our NYM Little League Association board members, coaches, players, and parents ⚾️ — thank you for rolling up your sleeves and getting to work. Seeing so many kids and families take pride in our parks and fields is exactly what makes this day so special.

A heartfelt shout‑out to Mayor Ernie Talerico, our NYM Police Department 🚔, the Highway Department 🛣️, and every resident who came out to help. Your time and effort truly make a difference.

🍩☕️ Donuts, coffee, and hot cocoa were generously supplied by Christine Jarvis State Farm Insurance to keep everyone fueled throughout the morning.

And the Trios Pizza lunch — also provided by the Christine Jarvis State Farm Insurance office — was the perfect reward after a job well done! 🍕💪

I also want to recognize my incredible State Farm team — Jennifer Dutcher, Tiffany McNeil, Mar Williams, and Heidi Isabell (our honorary team member) ❤️ These ladies show up for our customers and our community every single day, and I’m grateful beyond words to have them by my side.

A special thank‑you to Mar Williams and her fiancé Raven for joining in today — your time, energy, and enthusiasm were truly appreciated! ❤️

***IMPORTANT-DMV IS CLOSED TODAY WEDNESDAY 2/18/26 - They extened the re-opening to Thursday 2/19/26 @ 8am***

🚨 Important Update for New Yorkers! 🚨

The New York Department of Motor Vehicles is rolling out a major upgrade to their technology system to improve your experience!

📅 Please note:

All DMV offices will CLOSE early at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 13.
Online and phone services will also be unavailable during this transition.
Full DMV services will RESUME at the start of business on Wednesday, February 18.
The new system will allow DMV employees to handle transactions on one secure platform, offer more online services, and make future upgrades easier.

If you need to renew your license, non-driver ID, or complete any other transactions, be sure to do so BEFORE February 13 using the DMV’s online options.

🎤✨ Drumroll, please… ✨🎤
Our furry meteorologist, Punxsutawney Phil, popped out this morning, took one look around, saw his shadow, and said, “Yeah… y’all are getting six more weeks of winter.”

Honestly? After back‑to‑back storms, the crowd booing him like he was announcing extra homework felt very on brand.

Fun fact: this is the fifth time in the last six years Phil has pulled the “more winter” card—and the 20th time since 2000. At this point, I think he’s just committed to the bit.

Stay warm, stay sassy, and maybe don’t take weather advice from a groundhog who wakes up once a year wearing no pants. ❄️🐾💁‍♀️
