A pretty meaningful milestone from my first year+ with New York Life.

Through a lot of hard work over this past year, and more importantly, the trust my clients placed in me, I earned a spot at Executive Council Step-In alongside some of New York Life’s top-performing agents.
When I made a major career change last year, I knew I had a lot to learn. I still do. But that’s also been one of the things I’ve enjoyed most about this pivot.
I’m grateful for the clients who have allowed me to be part of some important decisions in their lives, my colleagues at New York Life who have invested their time in helping me grow, and my family and friends who have had my back every step of the way.
I’m proud of what I accomplished in year one, but this is by no means a finish line. My goal is to become a Partner with New York Life, continue building my own business, and begin working with new agents who are eager to build theirs.

For now though, it was nice to take a few days to enjoy this one. Not to mention, a pretty fantastic way to celebrate my 50th birthday 🥳

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Feeling incredibly thankful after our Hudson Valley General Office Kickoff. Huge appreciation to the amazing consultants who shared their knowledge and experience, and especially to Sonali Virendra, SVP and Head of Agency at New York Life, for your inspiring words and for investing in our team.

Moments like this are a reminder of why I’m so excited about what we’re building here in the Hudson Valley. I’m proud to be part of it, grateful to grow alongside this incredible group, and excited for what’s coming next.

Every now and then it’s worth reflecting on how you got where you are. This is my evolving story, and more importantly, why I love what I do today.

Twenty-eight years ago, I began a career telling other people’s stories.

For more than two decades, I led creative teams and produced content for brands like MTV and Peloton. It was creative, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding. But over time, I found myself drawn to a different kind of story, one happening around kitchen tables, small business offices, and in the lives of everyday people.

It didn’t happen overnight, but that realization eventually led me to New York Life.

Today, I help individuals, families, and business owners protect what they’ve built, preserve their wealth, and prepare confidently for the future. My approach is simple: listen first, ask important questions, and build relationships rooted in trust. I try to leave every person better than I found them.

One of the most rewarding parts of this chapter is also helping others discover a career where they can build something meaningful while making a positive impact. For me, there’s no greater measure of success than helping others succeed.

So as it turns out, the best stories I’ve ever been part of aren’t the ones I produced for someone else. They’re the ones I now have the privilege of helping others write for themselves.
