Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Brian Killea

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Brian Killea When my kids ask me what I did today, I always tell them "I helped people." It's the reason I left Wall Street for Edward Jones. My team includes Lisa McQuilkin.

Partnering with families and individuals to meet their financial goals motivates me to come to work every day. I believe in the power of serious, long-term investing guided by a personalized financial strategy. I understand the challenges and rewards of building something special. I focus on strategies that help business owners get the most from their business while helping reduce risk. As I think

about the future of my own children, I want our financial resources to be a positive influence on them and the world around them in which they inherit. So, we partner with other professionals (CPAs, attorneys) to help families transfer wealth to the next generation responsibly. Lisa adds experience in client relationship development and a passion for holistic wellness to our business. We use a well-established process to make each client feel understood and informed with their finances. My parents were gifted in making complex ideas simple, and I strive to do the same for our clients. I hold an economics degree from Lehigh and a dual MBA from NYU, Stern School of Business in finance and entrepreneurial studies. I spent 20 years with JPMorgan, Citibank and BNY Mellon. Perhaps the most important lesson I learned is that "nobody cares how much you know, until they know how much you care." Edward Jones truly cares and allows me to offer my guidance on a personal level. After hours, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jennifer, and our kids. You can find me on the athletic field gasping for breath while trying to keep up with my son or singing (mangling) a Taylor Swift song with my daughter. We planted roots in NP 14 years ago and love supporting our community. Let's grab coffee together, face to face or virtually. It all starts with a conversation. I look forward to it! Member SIPC.

The recent surge in oil prices has created significant market volatility and put the Federal Reserve in a challenging position as it balances inflation concerns with economic growth. However, today's economy is more resilient than during past energy crises, with energy representing a smaller share of consumer spending.

Angelo Kourkafas, Senior Global Investment Strategist, explains what high oil prices could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.
