How do cities turn resilience into real solutions that show up for residents when disaster strikes?⚡️

Through a Municipal Investment Fund (MIF) grant from Coalition for Green Capital and ICLEI USA, Finance New Orleans is focused on developing a market-building initiative and pipeline that helps move clean energy and resilient infrastructure projects from ideas into scalable, finance-ready solutions for New Orleans.

Joshua Cox, CEO of Community Power South, explains why this work goes beyond cleaner energy or lower bills. It’s about scaling proven solutions so when disasters hit and the grid
goes down, communities have safe places with reliable power and access to critical, life-saving services.

This is what mission-driven resilience looks like in New Orleans that protects all residents every day and when it matters most.
