We are saddened to learn of the passing of longtime WWL Radio host Mike Detillier.

For more than four decades, Mike shared his passion, knowledge and unmistakable love for football and Louisiana sports with listeners across our region. His insight and personality made him a trusted and familiar voice to generations of fans, and his impact extended well beyond the airwaves.

Mike was a special part of the WWL family and the Louisiana sports community, and he will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with Mike's family, friends, colleagues, and our friends at WWL during this difficult time.
