On May 7th 2026 in the case State v Hopkins
Our founder was determined by the court to be an expert witness.

He has been certified by the state Supreme Court as an expert in electronic monitoring systems which includes the devices and their software. But goes much deeper than just those.
He is the only person in the nation with this distinction as the court ruled he was an expert in a field he invented.

Our eMAP software is what has changed the game.

The expert report was filed 2 weeks ago and he will testify at the trial as the states expert witness. Seems Mrs. Shirley agreed with the report.

We are proud to announce A-surety (ASI) has acquired much of the caseload of the Assured Supervision Accountability Program ASAP ankle monitoring .

A program that has proudly provided the single most accountable solution available to the criminal justice system in Orleans parish for many years.
A program that was designed to be temporary.

ASAP brought clarity and transparency to the table with the single most accountable solution available to the criminal justice system. ASAP was designed to bring an answer to the problems that ankle monitoring created and faced. The eMAP software was the solution.
A one of a kind oversight software ended the blame game.

The Electronic Monitoring Accountability Program (eMAP) software they helped perfect in New Orleans will be the foundation of what we offer as we move to the next chapter of our nearly 40 year involvement and investment in our community.

The founders of ASAP have moved on to their next chapter of ending the wild wild west electronic monitoring nationally.
They will continue to do their duty and bring the eMAP system to every community in America. We thank them for what they have done.

Why we offer eMAP to our community?
eMAP is not electronic monitoring. It is the accountably layer between the manufacturers and providers of electronic monitoring and our community. It is the only way to ensure our community is truly protected in a way that creates solutions not blame. It also provides us an ability to create an immutable record of all of our communication with the court and enrolled individuals. An ability to provide a live and realtime communication network between all parties is key to proper supervision and a transparent system.

We have worked with ASAP as their customer since it began working in Orleans and we are proud to take the reigns in a great program that our community needs.

We will immediately take control of all individuals enrolled with ASAP and begin transferring them to our program. There will be no interruption in any enrolled individuals supervision. Court reports will continue to be transmitted via the OMS system that is now becoming eMAP as the pilot program ends and the permanent solution is implemented. We will pay the required fees and there is no cost to our community.

We thank the leaders of the Assured Supervision Accountability Program for the work they started and we pledge to continue to provide the same level of solutions based approach as we have become accustomed to here in New Orleans.
