It's been awhile since I have posted but today my son has to go and say see you soon to one of his high school friends. This is all something that as parents we can't even imagine having to do. With that being said, now is the time to think about if something were to happen, would your family be prepared?

This is something you need to keep in mind! The numbers are rising daily. If anything I recommend all first responders getting a separate Cancer/Stroke policy. There are studies that say with the first 5 years of retirement you are prone to cancer, stroke and heart attacks. Make sure to take the time to protect your family

There are no words to describe the pain and sadness I feel for his wife and kids. We all know that his fire department family will be there but at the end of the day there is nothing that is going to change that his family has to figure out how to navigate this world without him. Rest in peace and thank you for your service❤️sending prayer to his shift mates🙏

Praying for the families of the first responders that made the ultimate sacrifice on this day 23 years ago! I say a prayer every time my husband leaves for his shift because you honestly just never know what type of calls you are going to run on that shift! Stay safe my friends and thank you for all that you do!
