Bank of New Madrid is honored to partner with Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in presenting a Member Impact Fund grant to Missouri Delta Medical Center for $10,000. Missouri Delta Medical Center established a new Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Laboratory to provide advanced heart care for patients throughout Southeast Missouri. The project included renovating existing hospital space into a fully equipped, state-licensed Cath Lab where patients can receive diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures close to home. Grant funding was used to support construction and renovation of the space, purchase specialized cardiac imaging and procedural equipment, and install the technology needed to safely perform cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placement, and other minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures. The new Cath Lab allows patients to receive timely, life-saving cardiac care locally, reducing the need to travel outside the region for treatment and improving access to specialized cardiovascular services.
The value of quality healthcare in our region can’t be overstated, and Missouri Delta Medical Center is certainly doing its part. This donation allows us to play a small part in their goal of strengthening the area’s overall healthcare infrastructure.
