🌧️ NOR'EASTER ALERT — New London, CT 🌊
Batten down the hatches! A powerful Nor'easter is bringing heavy rain, high winds, and coastal flooding through the weekend.
⚠️ What to expect:
💨 Wind Advisory — Through early Sunday AM Gusts up to 50–55 mph along southeastern coastal areas. Saturated soil means downed trees & power lines are likely. Secure loose outdoor items!
🌊 Coastal Flood Advisory — Through 6 PM Sunday Minor to moderate flooding possible during high tide cycles. Avoid low-lying coastal roads.
☔ Heavy Rain — All weekend long 2–3 inches expected, with locally higher amounts possible.
