Reflection Time. June 1,2006 after 21 1/2 years in Crete I took the risk of a lifetime to move to my community knowing I wanted to serve locally, to support locally, I was advised by State Farm that this could devastate the business, by my moving a two decade old business twenty-five miles with a team that stayed behind because of the distance.In a nutshell, I bet on myself and I bet on you. TWENTY years ago today I opened my New Lenox doors and TWO New Lenox mayors later, FOUR Manhattan mayors later and too many principals, superintendent and trustees to count here I am. Many bumps and bruises along the way but here I am with a team built around servant leadership. On August 15th we'll throw a BIG community appreciation event at the Francis Fields in New Lenox but for now, today will be a focus on relection and gratitude. Forty-one years now

I'd love to see if the IHSA drew up a map of the state in ten mile by ten mile stretches if there is as area covering three towns that send more teams further year round than Lincoln-Way West, Lincoln-Way Central and Providence. We know of their strengths in football but baseball, softball and LaCrosse is so strong in our area.

Lincoln-Way West softball is now in the Elite Eight, the boys LaCrosse team is in the Elite Eight and the boys baseball team is in the Sweet Sixteen. THATS CRAZY

Lincoln-Way Central Girls LaCrosse is now in the Elite Eight and the boys baseball team is in the Sweet Sixteen with their LWW neighbors. Two of the final sixteen teams in the state are located five miles apart.

The Providence softball team has also advanced to the Elite Eight in 3A. This means that TWO of the final eight teams in their class are located three miles apart.

I also have to give a shout out to our friends from Wilmington who are once again crushing it in 2A in baseball. These young men are in the final 32. They. have advance to the Elite Eight or Final Four each of the last two years. More and more of my clients are moving out to Wilmington to get that small town vibe with great academics and strong sports programs not to mention the taxes. Wilmington Wildcats get after it boys

Congratulations to Mike Bacon and his Arrowhead crew for a very fun, thinking outside the box event Pig in the Parking Lot going on in Manhattan in the Park Street parking lot behind Arrowhead. The ribs are cooking right now and the winner will be announced around 3:30. The Kevin Molloy - State Farm Insurance team is proud to have sponsored the Me & V team made up of Jeanie and Vito Caponigro. If you are free tonight you should stop up and enjoy Manhattan's own Sara Martin an her band Modern Legacy performing from 6:00-8:00. Sara is IN MY opinion the best female artist in the Chicagoland area over the past thirty years.

What a day May 29th has turned out to be and tonight a great way to end it.

This morning we celebrated our Veterans at Arrowhead Ale House in New Lenox with our partners Ryan Bancsy from First Bank of Manhattan/New Lenox and Mike Bacon ownerof Arrowhead.

Just now we were notified that we were named The Best of Lincoln Way Readers Choice Award for 2026 in the Insurance Category for the SIXTH straight year. This is very humbling to say the least

Tonight the Kevin Molloy - State Farm Insurance team will host a "Date Night" with Advocate for Acceptance at Gatto's for fifteen couples of Special Needs Children while the kids are being entertained at the LWSR facility. Thank you Jeanine from Advocate for Acceptance and Frank Gatto for the partnership. Mayor Tim Baldermann YOU are a brilliant man and a brilliant leader.

No matter your age, no matter your circumstances, the one constant you need to bring to the table NO MATTER WHAT is the belief that you'll move mountains if you have to. Without that mindset the cards are stacked against you. At almost seventy years old, I still have tough decisions to make both personally and professionally but in the end I get over whatever is tgrown at me because reinventing oneself is a must in today's world.
