Not every message that sounds spiritual is true.

Peter warned believers to be watchful because false teachers would arise and distort the truth. Thousands of years later, his words remain just as relevant.

Next week, we'll explore what Scripture teaches about false teaching, why discernment matters, and how we can stay rooted in God's truth.

Stay tuned.

One of the most striking things about Jesus is that He was never in a hurry.

Crowds followed Him. People demanded His attention. Important needs surrounded Him, yet He remained present wherever He was. Meanwhile, many of us move through life distracted by what's next before we've even finished what's in front of us.

What if following Jesus means more than adopting His priorities? What if it also means adopting His pace?

This week, challenge yourself to slow down long enough to be fully present with God and the people around you.

AI isn't just answering questions anymore.

Recent cybersecurity incidents have shown AI systems finding vulnerabilities, escaping test environments, and even carrying out attacks on real-world platforms. What happened, and what does it mean for the future?

SEM Director of Technology, Dustin Briles breaks down these events, what made them significant, and what they may signal for the future of cybersecurity. Don't worry if you're not a tech expert. Dustin's goal is to explain complex topics in a way that's approachable and easy to understand, even for those without a technical background.

Busy has become the default pace of modern life.

We're constantly moving from one responsibility to the next, filling every spare moment with notifications, screens, and endless to-do lists. But when we look at Jesus, we see someone who was never rushed.

In the final blog in our "Ruthless Elimination of Hurry" series, we explore how physically slowing down trains our souls to resist hurry, increases our capacity for patience, and helps us become more present with God.

If you've ever felt exhausted by the pace of life, this blog is for you.

One of the most common mistakes in financial planning is assuming there is one perfect account for every goal. In reality, accounts are tools, and tools should be matched to the job they were designed to do.

Saving for education may point a family toward one option. Building long-term retirement assets may point toward another. Creating flexibility for a child's future may lead to a different conversation altogether.

Trump Accounts have created interest because they introduce another potential tool for families to consider, but the account itself should not drive the decision. The goal should. Before opening or funding any account, families should ask what they are trying to accomplish, how soon the money may be needed, and what tradeoffs come with each option.

This week, we are looking at how the right account depends on the purpose behind the savings. Read the full blog for more on Trump Accounts and picking the right account for your goals: https://tradersblog.semwealth.com/trump-accounts/

August in Arizona tests a lot of things. Patience is one of them. Patience is also key for investors.

As investors wait for answers on inflation, interest rates, affordability, and geopolitical uncertainty, we're taking a look at what patience means in today's market environment and why staying focused on long-term goals still matters.

Over the past several months, we've explored three practices that push back against a hurried life:

- Silence & Solitude
- Sabbath
- Simplicity

Each one invites us to create more space for God in a world that constantly demands our attention.

But spiritual growth doesn't happen just by reading about these practices. It happens when we begin putting them into practice.

So today, take a moment to reflect:

Which of these practices would make the biggest difference in your life right now?

Maybe it's carving out a few quiet moments with God before checking your phone.

Maybe it's protecting time for genuine rest.

Maybe it's simplifying your schedule, your possessions, or your commitments.

You don't have to change everything at once. Start with one small step. After all, becoming more like Jesus isn't about doing more. It's about making room for what matters most.

Next week, we'll start wrapping up the series with one final practice that can help us live with greater peace, presence, and purpose.
