Hey Facebook family, It's open enrollment and there are a few things you need to know about Employer owned life insurance.
1. You need an insurance/financial professional to help you build the correct need when planning.
2. Your group benefits oftentimes have limitations to the amount of life insurance they can offer you.
3. The employer owns the policies and most times they will not transfer with you if you quit, get laid off, retire, or become disabled. If it does it is often significantly more expensive.
Save yourself the heartache and contact me for a better structure in life insurance than your company offers. I would also be happy to review your other options with you if you don't have a strong HR team to walk you through all of the options and details of those products.

Do you have Disability insurance? What happens to your bills if you are not able to work for a while. Most financial professionals recommend 6 months of bills be kept in your savings.
