Revenue Cycle Specialist
We are an established medical billing company located in New Hyde Park, Long Island, seeking experienced Revenue Cycle Specialists with a strong work ethic and superior communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. The position requires well-rounded knowledge of the medical billing process including pre-submission review, claim submission and follow-up.
Job Responsibilities:

Review submitted claims for accuracy
Conduct timely follow-up and research on all unpaid claims with insurance companies
Work on insurance appeals and corrected claims correspondence
Utilize all available portals for claim information
Create and submit appeals and corrected claims packets, and other disputes, as necessary
Assist with obtaining pre-authorizations when needed

Qualifications and skills required:

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years medical billing experience
Out-of-network billing experience strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be flexible and adaptable to various work environments
Must be computer proficient
