Citizens Bank Creating a great place to bank, work, and live! Citizens Bank was chartered on May 4, 1934. In 1985 Citizens Bank opened a loan production office in Gerald.

All branches located in Franklin County, MO - New Haven - Gerald - Pacific - Washington Due to the stock market crash in 1929 and the onset of the “Great Depression”, Federal Regulators required that the Bank of New Haven and Farmer’s Savings Bank consolidate to create Citizens Bank of New Haven. Citizens Bank operated at its Front Street Location from it’s beginning in 1934 until 1995. In 1977, the bank decided to build a new facility at the intersection of Highway 100 and Circle Drive. A full-service Gerald location was opened in 1992, the Pacific location in 1996, the Washington location in 2000, and the Marthasville location in 2007. The Marthasville location ceased operation in 2014. Today, Citizens Bank is conveniently located throughout Franklin County, operating full-service banks in New Haven, Gerald, Pacific and Washington. Citizens Bank employees around 70 employees and has current assets of about $320,000,000.00. Since its inception in 1934 Citizens Bank of New Haven, which officially changed its name to Citizens Bank in 1995, has been proud of its ability to operate, as a community owned, independent bank serving its communities with a variety of full-featured products, which include deposit, credit mortgage, and investment opportunities. We offer financial services to individuals, and commercial clients. It is our vision as a community owned independent bank to create an atmosphere where employees enjoy working in order to provide superior service and products to our customers; thus, generating adequate returns to our shareholders. We will use our financial and human resources to evolve the needs of our communities, customers and employees. Citizens Bank’s mission is to create a great place to bank, work and live.

Yesterday, we attended the New Haven Police Department - Missouri’s ribbon cutting and open house of their new facility. We are so happy for them as they get a much needed upgrade. Of course, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t bring snacks and drinks for our wonderful police officers.
