📚 Day 2 | BACK-TO-SCHOOL DROP-OFFS

Another tote of school supplies is officially in the hands of Connected Community Schools! Our Ilion team recently dropped off the donations collected by our members, team members and community at the Connected Community Schools Hub at Gregory B. Jarvis Middle School.

Ilion Teller Supervisor Jenny and Assistant Teller Supervisor Kaitlyn helped put together the supplies, while Ilion Branch Manager Joe delivered them and connected with Central Valley Connected Project Coordinator Donna. ✏️📓

Thank you to everyone who contributed at our Ilion Branch and helped us support students throughout the Central Valley Central School District. We’re grateful to Donna and the Connected Community Schools team for their partnership and for helping make sure these supplies reach local students who can put them to good use.

📚❤️ Starting the School Year Together in Holland Patent!

Our Back-to-School Community Donation Drive came full circle as our Barneveld Assistant Teller Supervisor delivered the school supplies collected by our members, team members and community to the Holland Patent Central School District through our partnership with Connected Community Schools!

After dropping off the donations, had the opportunity to keep the back-to-school excitement going at General William Floyd Elementary’s Back-to-School BBQ, where we connected with incoming Pre-K through second-grade students and their families as they got ready for the year ahead. ✏️📓

Thank you to everyone who helped fill our Barneveld donation tote, to Connected Community Schools for getting these supplies into the hands of local students who need them, and to the Holland Patent school team for coordinating our donation drop-off and welcoming us to such a great back-to-school event.

We loved getting to spend the evening with so many Holland Patent families and are excited to see what the 2026-2027 school year has in store! 🎉

We’re kicking off our Back-to-School Community Donation Drive drop-offs! ❤️

Thanks to the generosity of our members, team members and neighbors, 32 new backpacks collected at GPO are heading to students across Madison County through our partnership with Community Action Partnership for Madison County.

A big thank-you to CAP, our local schools and educators, and everyone who donated or helped spread the word. Together, we’re helping local students start the school year ready to learn! 📚✏️

As our first season participating in the Firehouse Food Truck Series comes to a close, we're reflecting on the incredible first responders and families we had the privilege of meeting through our GPO VIP First Responder of the Week program in partnership with Bug Country, 97.9/105.5 Kiss FM, and Talk of the Town - Utica, NY. ❤️

Great questions and meaningful conversations made our Medicare 101 Workshop an engaging evening at GPO last week!

Members of the community joined us for an interactive session with Licensed Medicare Planning Consultant Mike Kline from ADK Financial Services, asking thoughtful questions and learning more about their Medicare options ahead of Open Enrollment.

From understanding how Medicare Parts A, B, C and D work together to knowing what to consider when reviewing coverage each year, the discussion highlighted just how valuable it can be to ask questions and understand your options.
