When you file a claim, it will be part of your insurance history for 5 years or more, depending on the carrier and the type of claim.
That means filing a claim is a decision worth thinking through.
So, we encourage you to call us before filing a claim whenever possible.
Sometimes it absolutely makes sense to file. Other times, the damage may be close to your deductible, or the situation may not be covered at all. We can help by having that conversation with you first!

If you own one, then you KNOW how much they cost! But you may NOT know that the accessories aren't always automatically covered.
What counts as an accessory? Start from the factory-issued frame and go from there: windshield, doors, winches, heat, plow... When insuring your toy, be sure to calculate the total value, with the accessories listed as a category.

It's pretty common to think that your insurance is there to fix YOUR car.
But some of the most important coverage is for the damage you could cause to someone else’s property, like:
• Another driver’s vehicle
• A fence or garage
• A storefront
• A light pole, mailbox, or guardrail
A newer vehicle with cameras and sensors or damage to a building can really add up repair costs.
If the damage is greater than your coverage, you could be responsible for the difference.
• What are your current limits?
• Would they realistically cover a serious accident?
• Am you comfortable with that level of risk?
Insurance isn’t just about meeting the minimum requirement. It’s about protecting your financial future when life doesn’t go according to plan.
