Alexa Sinyachova, who is a Venture Partner at Ukrainian Tech Ventures, took part in Mastercard Social Day – for Ukraine and local NPOs in Berlin! The event was organized by Mastercard Foundation and Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH with the goal of uniting forces to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs who have relocated to Berlin and are now building their companies in the European market.

At the event, Alexa had a chance to present Ukrainian Tech Ventures and participate in 1:1 sessions with Ukrainian startup founders. The participants teamed up to explore the opportunities in order to build a mutual ecosystem for Ukrainian tech companies and give them all the tools and support for their growth!

Last week, Alexa Sinyachova, a Venture Partner at Ukrainian Tech Ventures, was a keynote speaker at London Tech Week Pitch!

Together with brilliant June Sarpong, Sarah Kiefer, and Rachael Palmer, Alexa talked about Building and Sustaining a Thriving Tech Industry.

What’s also important is that Alexa was able to talk about Ukrainian Tech Ventures and bring up the challenges Ukrainian tech founders are facing today. We believe it’s significant that such a crucial topic was being discussed at Europe's largest tech festival. That’s the right place for a change to start!

London Tech Week takes place in the world's most vibrant tech hub on June 13th-17th. The event brings 20,000+ global government and corporate leaders, inspirational start-up founders, senior investors and tech rising stars together to discuss the power of technology for societies.

Over this time, Ukrainian Tech Ventures team have been actively negotiating with investors, reviewing incoming startup pitches, and gathering all kinds of help to support the future portfolio companies.

Here are some exciting updates to share:

Alexa Sinyachova, Ukrainian Founder and Venture Partner at Ukrainian Tech Ventures, curated WTECH Berlin Spring Gathering which took place on April 28 in Tech Incubator Hubraum, Berlin.

During the event, Alexa shared her experience as a Ukrainian founder building the business in Berlin and more about the local startup culture. She had a chance to speak with 50 female Ukrainian founders and tech professionals and tell them about Ukrainian Tech Ventures.

It’s been a week since Ukrainian Tech Ventures’ first official announcement. And here is the first weekly update we’d like to share:
— UTV was featured in Bloomberg, Business Insider, and Forbes Newsletter Deal Flow;
— 32 Ukrainian-founded startups submitted their pitch decks to UTV on www.ukrvc.com;
— UTV team started negotiating with several investors, as well as collecting perks for our future startups.

— The founders won't be taking salaries and are personally investing in the fund themselves.

They stated that their main goal is to assist Ukrainian entrepreneurs in re-starting their tech businesses in new countries.
