As 2023 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year that was both enlightening and transformative. One of the highlights was my journey through various African countries, an experience that opened my eyes to the African cultures and the profound insights of the Muslim religion. This journey was not just about discovering new places; it was a deep dive into understanding and appreciating diversity.
Moreover, this travel experience brought to light the crucial role of government in shaping a nation's welfare. It allowed me to connect with a continent whose stories and struggles are very different from my own. As a result, I believe that I've grown to be less judgmental, more empathetic, and deeply grateful for the privileges I've had, living in countries where governments function, or at least largely try to function, for the well beings of the people.
Going into 2024, I hope to embrace something new, something I've never done before like 2023. I hope that with these experiences, I will continue my personal growth and aim to make a positive impact on society. I believe the beauty of our world lies in its diversity, and every encounter, every journey, teaches us something invaluable. Here's to a year of new experiences, personal growth, and making a difference.
