Getting to know Scott.
Scott Koontz, born and raised in Henry County, Indiana, is a pillar to the community. He graduated from Blue River Valley High School before earning a degree in finance and accounting at Ball State University. After graduation, Scott dedicated his time to the betterment of his community by serving on various boards, including the Mooreland Fair, Mooreland South Christian Church, and The Henry County Hospital Foundation, where he holds the position of Chairman and is the Co-Founder of Secret Families of Henry County. Scott's commitment to his community extends beyond his board memberships. He is also a proud NRA, Kiwanis, Optimist, The Masons, KOP, and NCHC Chamber of Commerce member.
Scott has owned and operated Koontz Insurance and Financial Services for over two decades, establishing himself as a respected figure in the business landscape. Scott has ventured into a new endeavor with his home restoration business in recent years.
Additionally, he continues to honor his family's legacy as a 5th generation farmer. Scott's passion for his community and dedication to his family's roots are evident in all his pursuits.
Aside from his professional and civic responsibilities, Scott enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his children, both of whom have achieved higher education at Rose Hulman and IUPUI.
