We're starting off a brand-new month and work week by telling you about our June Employee of the month, Darky Peralta!

Darky is our VP/Branch Operations Manager in New Brunswick, and she's being recognized for the work she did in assisting a non-profit opening an account with us. There's a lot of requirements when it comes to opening a non-profit account, including the gathering of signatures of Board Members and officers authorized to be signers. It requires a lot of follow up as the volunteers for such organizations are not centrally located and do not meet more than a few times each year.

Darky navigated all the challenges with ease, prompting the customer to take the time and acknowledge Darky for her patience and attention to detail.

Meet Buddy, today's Cutie, submitted by his dad Ted, who banks with us at our Tano Mall location in Edison! Buddy is 7 years old and is quite a talker and attention seeker. He lets his parents know when it's time for breakfast by "singing the song of his people" in meows that can be heard from the other side of the house, and when dinner isn't served on time, he will sit on the armrest of his dad's favorite chair and tap his dad's arm with his paw! Buddy also enjoys afternoon naps by curling up and looking like a furry shrimp 😹

For this , here's some commonsense tips to help protect yourself against the growing trend of AI-assisted document fraud:

Poor grammar or unnatural wording

Unexpected or duplicate documents

Slightly distorted logos or inconsistent branding

Formatting that feels “almost” right, but not quite

If something seems off to you, it's worth your time to take a minute and verify the source before going any further. As AI tools continue to evolve, so do the tactics used by fraudsters, and the documents they create may be used to impersonate businesses, request payments, or verify false information.
