Meet Pierre and Rambler, today's !

Their dad found them living outside his house in Edison and coaxed both of them indoors, got them to the vet, and now they're living the cushy kitty condo life while their dad works hard to provide toys, treats, and lots of love!

Pierre is the darker cat, and his full name is "Monsieur Alphonse Pierre Lechat!" He's around 3 years old, and Rambler is like Prince, just goes by one name 😹, and he's around 5 years old. As you can see, they get along and love hanging out with each other!

The first week of August has flown by, and while we're still in summer mode, we're also approaching Back to School season, a high-risk period for scams and fraud. Here's some tips to help prevent you from becoming a victim of BTS fraud:

☑️ Never share Social Security numbers, bank account info, credit card numbers, PINs, passwords, or login details for school or social media accounts
☑️ If contacted by phone, text, or email about financial aid, scholarships, or loans, verify the source by searching the agency’s official website and contacting them directly
☑️ Purchase back to school items from trusted websites and stores- if you see a social media site or email with a deal you think is too good to be true, it probably is!

It's , and !

The original ice cream sandwich sold for a penny in 1900 from a pushcart in New York and featured the ice cream sandwiched between milk biscuits.

Flash forward to the present where ice cream sandwiches go by a variety of names including the Monaco Bar, Giant Sandwich or Vanilla Slice, and are made with a variety of cookies and different flavors of ice cream with toppings around the edges.

Happy ! We've got three pets to celebrate today, courtesy of Donna and Chris from Colonia, and these photos are proof that cats and dogs DO get along. Meet Sara (cat) Emmett and Scout, all very spoiled pets who play and bond with each other on a daily basis. Sara was found as a stray in the garage and became a part of the family 13 years ago, and enjoys hanging out and playing with Scout, while Emmett sits on the couch like a human to watch TV with his mom and enjoys cuddles with his brother.
