🚨 Friendly reminder from someone who's been doing this for 22 years:

Jail calls are recorded.

Every. Single. Day. I hear people trying to explain their case over the phone to their mom, girlfriend, granny, cousin, or best friend.

Please stop.

And parents—don't use that jail call to start a courtroom debate with your kid. The second you start chewing them out, human nature kicks in. They start defending themselves. Explaining. Justifying.

Now you've got somebody talking about their case on a recorded line.
