Getting ghosted. 😂

Let me tell you a little bit about her, and you tell me if anyone rings a bell! 😜

She’s a small business owner who’s working her butt off to grow her business, make more money, and maybe—just maybe—have a little more time to actually enjoy it.

She’s constantly juggling customers, employees, family life, and ALL the never-ending admin work that comes with running a business. 😵‍💫

She definitely wants to know her numbers… but she’d rather clean the office bathroom than open up QuickBooks and try to figure out what the heck is going on in there. 😂

She wants someone who can keep her books organized, explain her numbers in actual English, and tell her when something looks a little 👀 instead of just handing her a bunch of reports she doesn’t understand.

Bonus points if she loves a good laugh, doesn’t mind a little sarcasm, and appreciates having a bookkeeper she can actually TALK to. 🤭

Yep… we totally have a type. 💙

Can we be honest for a minute?

We enjoyedddd our summer! 🤭☀️

We spent some time with family, had a family wedding, slowed things down a little, and let ourselves breathe instead of constantly feeling like we needed to be checking something off our business to-do list.

And we basically told ourselves we’d circle back this fall to all those things we kept saying:

"We'll get to that when things slow down." 😂

Welp… it’s almost fall! 🍂👀

So, September is officially reset + refresh season at LarStone Bookkeeping.

Here’s the checklist we’re working through to get our business (and our books 😉) ready for the final stretch of the year:

✔️ Clean up anything that’s been sitting on the to-do list
✔️ Make sure our books are caught up and accurate
✔️ Review income + expenses
✔️ Check in on outstanding invoices
✔️ Get organized for year-end
✔️ Make a plan for those upcoming 1099s
✔️ And, most importantly… make sure we’re not carrying bookkeeping chaos into 2027 😂

And honestly? This checklist is perfect for our service-based business clients, too.

Plumbers, roofers, electricians, HVAC pros, landscapers, contractors, and all you other service-based business owners…

Fall is a pretty good time to get your books back in the game. 🏈📊
